This is it! It’s finally here – the Cluster Replacement that brings your Ford Think into the present!

This Replacement Cluster builds on the fundamentals of the Cluster Bypass and has a ton of added functionality. For decades, the original cluster has been the demise of the Ford Think. The way in which the original clusters were built traps heat and all original clusters will eventually fail. Sometimes, they can fail in a spectacular manner and can even start an electrical fire. Fundamentally, the Cluster Replacement addresses these concerns in a number of ways – utilizing modern chips and power electronics to better control the temperature, adding dual cylindrical fuses, self-resetting fuses, a much wider input voltage range, short-circuit, over-current, over-voltage, and under-voltage protections. Once safety was established, we then worked diligently to bring some new and exciting features to the Cluster, including GPS, Battery Selection, Color Screen, and many more. Cluster Replacement Features:

• GPS: no more worries about inaccurate speed due to larger tires or different motor.
• Color Touch Screen: better visibility key indicators and makes cart look newer.
• Selectable Battery Algorithms: can input high, middle, and low voltage levels for full control of battery display.
• Color Battery Meter: easily see state of charge (SOC) and battery health on one meter!
• Wide Operating Voltage Range: 40V to 160V (to support lithium upgrades)
• Controller Error Detection: full error code readout with additional context to help solve controller issues.
• Drive Mode Indicator: screen shows R (reverse), T (turf), and D (drive) for the various drive modes.
• Plug and Play: simply unplug and unscrew your old cluster and install the new one – installation takes 5 minutes or less.
• High-Power LED Turn Signals: much better visibility of turn signals, they are much brighter.
• Adjustable Screen Brightness: making it easy to read the screen on a sunny day or in the middle of a dark night.
• OPTIONAL: Automatic Screen Brightness! Add the optional light level sensor and have the screen brightness adjust automatically based on the ambient lighting level.
• OPTIONAL: Charge Detection! Add the optional charge detect cable to add additional charging information to the cluster – works with ANY Ford Think charger, even aftermarket ones.

Notes on the Optional Add-ons: 

• The Light Level Sensor allows the screen to automatically change brightness based on ambient lighting. If you choose to include this optional add-on, you will also receive a small sensor module, which must be placed somewhere on your dash. This will allow the sensor to detect the ambient light level and adjust the screen brightness automatically. In very bright, sunny weather, the sensor will change the screen brightness to 100% to make it easier to read. In a dark setting, or at night, the sensor will reduce the brightness of the screen to approximately 25% as to not be blinding. If you choose to not order this option, you can always manually adjust the brightness by simply pressing the “SELECT/RESET” button on the cluster decal overlay to cycle between brightness levels.
  NOTE: The Light Level Sensor is NOT waterproof and should not be mounted outside of the cart!
• The Charge Detect Sensor allows the new cluster to report charging status. This is really beneficial to ensure that the charger is actually getting power and to help reduce the odds that you drive off with the power cord still in the cart. Just like the original cluster’s “plug” icon, by adding this option and installing correctly, you’ll see a “charging” icon on the new cluster when it is plugged in to charge. Note that this add-on has two options:
  • The first option is plug and play for MOST chargers, including aftermarket chargers that are included with lithium battery upgrade kits. Note: if you have an original Ford Think charger (the silver charger OR the original Delta Q 710-7201), the Charge Detect Sensor add-on requires additional work, including cutting the charger’s power cord and splicing in a male and female plug. If you have an original silver charger or Delta Q 710-7201, are NOT technically inclined, and do not care about charging status, you should NOT order the Charge Detect Sensor add-on.
  • The second option is plug and play for MOST newer Delta Q chargers, including the generic Delta Q 712-7200. If you have a newer Delta Q charger that has an IEC plug on the power connector, like below, please choose this option.

Lastly, please keep in mind that the Replacement Cluster is meant to be a leap-forward over the original cluster, however, it was designed by two guys in their spare time who simply have a passion for keeping Thinks on the road. We have priced the Cluster Replacement at less than half of what others charge for a cluster repair, and you get a number of additional features and added safety.
